New for RHS Wisley Spring Show

Neil will be showing a new range of wallhanging faced vases at the Spring Show. Currently they are designed to hold flowers (they hold water) but planters are planned for the future! Available in a variety of blue/green colours and different faces, these unique pieces would be a dramatic addition to any garden or interior.

The enduring influence of Dungeness

Greetings from the edge. Since childhood the foreland in South Kent known as Dungeness has been central to my creative impulse. It is here that the longshore drift eastwards has deposited a desert of shingle which, at its edge has become embellished by generations of detritus, the residue of fishing industry which clings to the fragile shoreline. In search of pattern and texture I have frequented scrapyards and the like since my college days but here at Dungeness the objects I seek are 'free range', sculpted organically through prolonged exposure to the glare and grind of natural forces, these objects have a compelling beauty.Their metamorphosis speaks of mortality and decay. Forever changing, the human condition is reflected here. I am constantly drawn back to the mesmerising landscape and windblown emptiness.
